ITB Berlin – The worlds leading travel trade show is ITB at Berlin

<br />

NEW– Updated Feb. 24, 2010 ITB Berlin 2010 countdown has begun

ITB Berlin is the worlds leading travel trade show. The numbers prove it: more than 180,000 visitors, among these 108,000 trade visitors, and over 10,000 exhibitors from 180 countries and with exhibitor sales of about 5 billion Euro. These are the numbers of ITB Berlin 2008. Trade visitors as well as public visitors have the opportunity to explore the international travel industry’s entire product spectrum in an exhibition area of 160.000 sq. meters!!! Now that is unbeatable.

This year’s ITB is expected to be even more impressive, with prizes, awards, Business Travel Days, Travel Technology, events, presentations, speakers, films, interviews, news reports, business contacts, etc, etc, etc. The list is long and it is impossible to even touch the tip of all things that will be going on at this year’s ITB at Berlin. And that is why, to be productive, one has to, literally, write out a plan with strategy, goals and objectives and once that is done, implement it step by step, otherwise it will be just another trip to Berlin. Not that Berlin is not a nice place to visit and do things, but if you are out to do business, ITB Berlin is the place and the time to do it.

This year ITB Berlin will take place starting on Wednesday March 11 till Sunday March 15, 2009, with operating hours, 9 am to 5:30 pm.
On the first day of your participation you will have to pass by the registration desks, regardless if you are a trade visitor or an exhibitor, which are located at the ICC and the Entrance South. The days following the first you can start your tour a variety of entrances: Main Entrance South / Hall 1/2 (Jafféstrasse), Hall 7.2a (opposite the Deutschlandhalle), Hall 9 (Messedamm), Hall 14.1 (opposite the ICC Berlin), Hall 19 (Hammarskjöldplatz), Hall 25 and ICC Berlin. If you are an exhibitor you can start setting up your stand as of the 9th of March but you must be ready on the 11th of March, when the “lights go on” and the “games begin”.

We from Travelling will be there with ITB Berlin special editions of “Hellenic Travelling” and “Travelling News”. Both of our publications will be available from the stand of the GNTO, but our newspaper “Travelling News” will also be available from the ITB Berlin International Trade Press Stand, following an agreement with ITB Berlin as we did last year. The ITB Berlin International Trade Press Stand guarantees “Travelling News” free distribution at the world’s leading travel trade show and unbelievable awareness and visibility of “Travelling News” and the advertisers of that issue.

So, pull up your sleeves, plan your advert and give us a call. ITB Berlin is just around the corner.
